>As promised‚ I have begun to separate the two diverging sections of my shop‚ knits and fine art. This little guy here‚ can be found at my new shop; Tracey Knits. He is made from durable acrylic yarn in the miami dolphins football team colors. I am only creating one at a time‚ but if you are looking for a set of 3 with numbers I would be happy to make them for you.
> I am so excited to be offering FREE SHIPPING on all photography purchases through the month of July!
Many of my images were taken at the beach near my home on the Jersey Shore. A perfect way to have a beach holiday year round.

Stop by and check out the full range of covers in person‚ place custom orders or just chat. I will be located in front of Yarn-it on Norwood Avenue.
I am very excited about the prospect of teamwork. Working at home on art projects can be very isolating so I have joined several of Etsy’s teams in hopes that it will not only promote my shop but make me a better artist as well.
Etsytwitter Team is a gang of shop owners who all promote through twitter. I have found twitter to be a great resource. Constantly updating with new and exciting information from all over the world. I often post my new listings as well as remind people of older items and forwarding bits of information to my followers from friends.
Etsyknit Team i use exclusively for my knit items. All the knitters/crocheters/spinners make beautiful things and vary in style‚ construction and price.
Etsynj team is my hometown as Bruce would say. It is amazing the diversity of artists spanning this great state. The team discusses local issues like craft fairs and art shows as well as arranging meet ups for moral support.
If you are actively trying to promote your etsy shop like I am‚ you May have found that twitter is a great resource. With one small sentence‚ I am able to reach as many people who follow me. The trick is getting those followers.
That being said‚ I have been using a few new tools. Firstly‚ twibes will connect you with anyone who lists themselves with your common interest. In order to use this successfully however‚ you must go on there site to post your tweet. Twibs is a great place to search through twitter based businesses. ifollow and wefollow are similar in some ways‚ they are both listings of people who will follow you back if you follow them. the major difference is that wefollow lists participants by 3 keywords of their choosing making it easier to search for others with similar interests. Lastly‚ I have been using huitter. The “mutuality” application is a great way to follow back all the people who follow you‚ or conversely‚ to unfollow those that have stopped following you.
2 weeks ago I started with about 30 people following me. As of this morning I have just shy of 600.
Nothing makes it more evident that father’s day is fast approaching then what happened on my Etsy page just yesterday. I knit a very cute Miami Dolphins golf club cover and put it up for sale. I tagged it as a present for a man. BAM! I got 35 views in the first day. I think this might have sparked some interest in my stuff‚ no?
The hubby is still lying in bed watching lots of movies. My job is to get him things from downstairs and help him get dressed. I am not loving this job.
